Kia ora, I’m Kyla — the designer behind Simple Designs.
With over 20 years of experience and Adobe Certified Professional credentials, I collaborate with clients who are creating meaningful, positive change in their communities and industries.
My design approach is grounded in clarity, purpose, and collaboration. I work closely with clients to ensure every outcome reflects their values and vision — and that the process is smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. Whether you’re a small business, environmental organisation, or community trust, I’m here to help your message connect with the right audience.
Over the years, I’ve built a diverse and well-rounded career spanning graphic design, project delivery, relationship management, and brand development. I’ve worked extensively with local government agencies across Aotearoa for more than 18 years, contributing to numerous branding and rebranding programmes within the community partnership space. This has given me deep insight into local government, corporate, community, and private sector environments.
Proudly born and raised in the Eastern Bay of Plenty, I’m inspired by the stunning coastline and love making the most of the region’s outdoor lifestyle.
